April Reading List (2021)

So what I think I’m going to do from now on is keep a reading List for every month. It’ll let everyone know what books I want to read this month or what books will crossover to the next.

This month recommended book from a friend is called Made For Friendship. This book was actually given to me by another friend who thought of me when I was in my “I don’t need anybody” phase after my break up years ago. Now, this has made another resurgence in my life by way of another friend who said it’s the best book he has read this year. So I’m excited. I have been desiring to get closer to other people so hopefully this book frees me to be open to try new things.

Shadows of Self by Brandon Sanderson is the sequel to the Alloy of Law and is my audio pick of the month. I really was into the characters and the whole mystery behind what happened at the end of the book so I’m excited to listen to this book. The narrator does an awesome job and the writing is superb. I’m excited to jump into the world of Mistborn once again and see what twists and turns Brandon Sanderson can think of next.

To sleep in a Sea of Stars is my continued read of this month since I haven’t finished it. I am excited to finish this book because so far it has been really good. Some things have come off a little too farfetched but I mean it is a story in a hypothetical world where we can cross the galaxies and have been able to terraform other worlds. I like the main characters though I don’t know how long each character will last since each situation is pretty dire and the main protagonist Kira seems to be the only one who can’t really die.

We were the lucky ones is a story about Romance in a time of War. It is My personal choice of this month. It is suppose to be a fictional story taking place during World War 2. I’ve heard nothing about this book but it seems like it would be really good. I love war stories, though I know this is more about romance, but I want to see what happens. I’m curious to see where the story goes and what kind of hardships they will face and overcome. This and the next few are goals but I’m not sure ill get to it by the end of the month but we will see.

These books, I know, I probably won’t get to but I’m excited to get to eventually. These are just books I have purchased recently or from series I want to continue. I want to get into different genres and explore other stuff because I’ve read a lot of science fiction and fantasy lately, so I’m excited to read different authors and such. If any of you have any suggestions for next month I would love to hear about them. I also would like to read some stuff from Stephan King. I’ve heard a lot of stuff about the Stand so decided to start with that.

Anyways with that I will end this blog.

God bless!
